The switchback light built into the flare is a smart touch, and the 3/16" steel feels absolutely solid over rocks. The flat high-clearance design gave me way more room for my 35s, and coverage at 7 inches is plenty for daily driving. Install took an afternoon, but the fit was spot-on with the factor

I swapped out my old flares for these steel ones and the difference in strength is night and day—3/16" plate handles rocks without a dent. The switchback lights are a nice touch, wiring them into my factory halogens was pretty straightforward.

The 7 inches of coverage on these flares is exactly what I needed to protect the sides from rock chips, and the built-in switchback light is a nice bonus. Powder coat finish looks tough as hell on the trail, though I’d still add a little touch-up paint after the first scrape.
